Health literacy – AI as a game changer?

VAGEDES & SCHMID organized a symposium for the Federal Institute for Public Health that addressed the question of how artificial intelligence can contribute to strengthening health literacy. The format opened up spaces for thinking, dialogue, and exchange – and made complex content understandable.

The focus was not on the technology itself, but on direct exchange between experts and participants. In various dialogue and discussion formats, perspectives were shared, questions asked, and ideas generated that will have an impact beyond the day of the event.

The implementation showed that relevance comes from proximity, AI needs to be embedded in a meaningful way, and events can provide orientation by conveying knowledge, attitudes, and concrete ideas. This is precisely where live communication unfolds its particular strength.
