The economy benefits from the sea

The 12th National Maritime Conference took place under the patronage of German Chancellor Angela Merkel in the port of Rostock-Warnemünde.

More than 1000 high-ranking representatives from politics, business, trade unions, science and social groups discussed the main topics of maritime value creation in Germany, mostly virtually.

The program included six industry forums. For industry forums taking place at the same time, an additional studio, identical to the main studio, was available in WCC 8. In addition, three remote links and several live links shaped the program – moderated by Yared Dibaba.

All participants were able to interact online, take part in polls and ask questions directly to the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Peter Altmaier.

We ensured that everything ran smoothly, from the design, planning and implementation to the follow-up, while observing the highest security precautions.

SL: Maiden voyage

The National Maritime Conference experienced its digital premiere. The Warnemünde Cruise Center 8 (WCC8) served as the main studio for the live broadcast of the virtual conference.
