Building bridges, sharing knowledge.

In 2022, “Zukunft Bau” tested a new format for the first time that combines the latest findings from science, their implementation in practical construction applications, and the communication of these to a broad audience.

With a focus on climate-neutral building stocks in 2045, the aim was to create a creative, accessible experimental space for three months in which innovative approaches for the construction of the future could be generated and demonstrated: the Zukunft Bau Pop-up-Campus.

The responsibility for VAGEDES & SCHMID was extensive and covered the entire spectrum of live communication. Our well-rehearsed teams with exhibition experience ensured smooth construction, processes and targeted follow-up.

Plaza of Future Ideas

The official opening of the Zukunft Bau pop-up campus took place with the groundbreaking ceremony on June 9, 2022. The highlight was the campus weeks from August 29 to September 9, 2022, when overarching events took place and students and graduates worked and made contributions on the campus.
